The annual inflation rate was 2.5 percent and the average annual inflation rate stood at 2.4 percent, compared to 2.7 and 2.4 percent in May respectively.
The general price level was mainly affected by decreases in the prices of fuels and oils, vegetables, heating energy, clothing, and footwear, as well increases in prices of holiday trios, personal care products, meat and its products, air transport services, household cleaning, and care products.
The prices of goods went down 0.7 percent over a month, and those of services rose 0.9 percent, and the prices rose 1.8 and 4.2 percent respectively over a year.
