Lithuanian startups to hire hundreds in 2023, mostly marketing and IT staff

Today, Lithuania has over 700 active startups with a total workforce of 16,700 specialists, which makes an 18% annual and 3% quarterly growth, Unicorns Lithuania said. The startups are also looking forward to hiring hundreds of marketing and IT staff this year.

According to the association, the average salary in startups today is EUR 3,200 before taxes or 14% more than a year ago. Alongside this, employees are reportedly offered a range of fringe benefits, such as incentive stock options, health insurance, more days off, unlimited learning budgets.
