Pienas LT cooperative to raise farm-gate milk prices

Pienas LT, Lithuania’s agricultural cooperative which unites over 250 milk producers, announced Thursday it will be raising farm-gate milk prices.

The company, however, has not disclosed an exact increase in its milk purchase price yet.
The cooperative predicts that the farm-gate milk price will reach the lowest level in February, while a slight recovery of the market can be expected in March, looking at future deals.
