Major repairs were initiated by the Police Department to improve conditions for officers to train and improve their physical condition.
Stands were fully renewed, lighting was installed, new running tracks and an artificial football turf were laid.
The cost of the project totals EUR 5.65 million and was covered from funds of the Police Department.
Minister of the Interior Agnė Bilotaitė told reporters that the new stadium would be open to children as well.
