Skuodis: preparations under way to reconstruct roads on Lithuanian-Polish border

Stretches of about 13 km on border roads of national significance are planned to be repaired in the districts of Lazdijai and Kalvarija in efforts to improve and expand the road infrastructure in the areas of the Lithuanian-Polish border by 2024, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said.

The design work is set to begin on an almost 9 km long stretch of regional road of national significance No. 2511 Lazdijai–Galiniai from Lazdijai to the Lithuanian-Polish border as the contracts signed by the Lithuanian Road Administration and the planners came into force on 17 March.
