Utenos Trikotazas has a subsidiary in Ukraine, Mrija, and the Lithuanian company's managing director Algirdas Sabunas says Ukraine is also experiencing a lack of qualified workers due to the ongoing large scale emigration.
Utenos Trikotazas now as 230 seamstresses and 800 people work for the company in total. The company posted 6.7 million euros in revenue in the first quarter, down 5.2 percent from the same period last year. Exports sales revenue makes 83.2 percent of its total revenue.
