Vilnius Airport to close for runway reconstruction in 2017

It has been announced that the runway of Vilnius Airport will undergo reconstruction in the summer of 2017 - from 14 July to 18 August. Throughout this period, airplanes will not be landing in Vilnius, most airlines intend to reroute flights to Kaunas and Palanga during this time. The infrastructure needed to service the flow of passengers in other cities is being estimated at the moment.
