Wizz Air suspends flights to Milan due to coronavirus

Wizz Air announced its decision on Sunday to suspend flight from Vilnius to Milan due to the existing quarantine in northern Italy, aimed at brining the coronavirus outbreak under control.

Flights from the Lithuanian capital to Milan's Malpensa Airport will be suspended until April 3, the company said. Passengers will be able to get refunds.

Millions of people in northern Italy were placed under quarantine on Sunday to contain the spread of the new virus in the country.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte decided to restrict movement in large northern areas, including Milan and Venice. The decision will affect over 15 million people and be in place until April 3.
