Brancovskaja was born in Vilnius in 1922. She was taken to Vilnius Ghetto aged 19. Later, she escaped, joined partisans and fought against the Nazis.
Brancovskaja actively fostered Holocaust remembrance.
In 2017, she was awarded the Cross of the Knight of the Order for Merits to Lithuania.
