The first patient already recovered and was released from the hospital in Siauliai.
On Monday, 16th March, Lithuania started two-week quarantine. At the moment the government is deciding if the quarantine has to be prolonged.
The first death was announced of coronavirus in Lithuania on the night to Saturday, 21th March. Most of the cases are brought from abroad.
