Employees of fertiliser manufacturer Lifosa protest near the Government

On Wednesday, members of the trade union Solidarumas and the trade union of fertiliser manufacturer Lifosa held a protested outside the Government building in Vilnius against the planned temporary conservation of the factory. Some 400 protesters demanded to safeguard the company against closure and to ease international sanctions on the company.
