Former health minister does not rule out running for president in 2029

Former health minister Aurelijus Veryga has announced that he will stand as a candidate in the 2024 presidential election. The MP of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS) also does not rule out participating in the 2029 presidential election if incumbent President Gitanas Nausėda is re-elected for the second term next year.
