Božena Bagonaitienė, aide of 98-year-old Adamkus, confirmed the news to ELTA. She did not comment on the circumstances.
"I cannot say anything at the moment, I want to get back on my feet as soon as possible and come back to my home," Adamkus told the news website when asked about his health condition.
