Govt coalition partners back decision to sack official ethics chief

Viktoras Pranckietis, the speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, says that the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LFGU) and its ruling coalition partner, the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP), unanimously approve of his decision to sack Romas Valentukevičius as head of the Chief Official Ethics Commission (VTEK).
