„His visit remains on our agenda but the aim is to see the situation in the Middle East calming down a bit first. Then the atmosphere for the [Israeli] president’s visit will be much better than it is now, when it is very very hot,“ Asta Skaisgirytė told Žinių radijas on Tuesday.
She also said that the president of Israel has Lithuanian roots, and a certain part of his visit would be devoted to these historical links.
No exact date has been set for Herzog’s visit yet, according to Skaisgirytė.
