Lithuania currently has some 2,476 coronavirus-infected medics

There are some 2,476 coronavirus-infected medics in Lithuania, representatives of the country's National Public Health Center say.

"Some 2,476 medics are now ill. A total of 3,121 cases involving healthcare specialists were recorded in September-November," Greta Gargasiene of the NPHS told a press conference on Friday.

In her words, a total of 3,540 medics have been infected with the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
