Lithuanian foreign minister: Veto right is responsibility, not privilege

On 30 September, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius took part in a high-level event, which was co-hosted by France and Mexico on the restraint of the veto in the Security Council in situations of mass atrocity, genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Lithuania actively supports the initiative that was proposed by France and Mexico, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
