Lithuanian parliament wants more power on refugee resettlement

A group of Lithuanian MPs have suggested that parliament should have a say on issues concerning refugee resettlement. Meanwhile the ruling Social Democratic Party has offered a political agreement among Lithuania's major parties, saying that an issue as sensitive as asylum seekers should not be made the topic for electoral campaigning.
