The head of the prime minister’s office, Ieva Skarelytė, told ELTA that Šimonytė would leave for Ukraine on Friday evening and the visit would last until Sunday.
The agenda of the prime minister’s visit has not yet been made available to the public.
The head of Government previously visited Ukraine in November 2023 to meet with the country’s leadership and participate in the international forum on Ukrainian grain initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
