According to the Lithuanian Armed Forces, a report was received from the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre about an injured person in need of medical assistance on a fishing vessel sailing in under the Lithuanian flag in the Latvian waters of the Baltic Sea.
The helicopter took off at around 9:35 p.m. Sunday. At 11:13 p.m., the injured individual was successfully transferred to medics from the emergency aid service of Ventspils, Latvia.
