NATO jets scrambled 8 times last week to intercept Russian planes over Baltic Sea

Fighter jets stationed in the Baltic states as part of NATO's air policing mission were scrambled eight times last week to identify and escort military aircraft of the Russian Federation in the international airspace over the Baltic Sea, according to data from the Ministry of National Defense.
