Currently in Latvia, the president also confirmed that MP Andrius Palionis is being proposed for agriculture minister.
"Today, I can just state the fact that these are real candidates, and the parties which signed a coalition agreement have proposed these candidates, and whether they will be in the government or not, it will turn out after the final conversation with them," Nauseda told journalists in Riga.
Under the coalition agreement signed several weeks ago, the transport and interior ministerial portfolio went to the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance, and the Agriculture Ministry will be led by a representative of the Social Democratic Labor Party of Lithuania.
