Julija Samorkovskaja, the spokeswoman of Vilnius County Police Headquarters, confirmed to the news agency ELTA that at 4 p.m. the police received a report about “strong odour” at the shopping centre and that some of its visitors had difficulty breathing. She added that officers were evacuating people.
Firefighters and ambulances were dispatched as well.
