Šimonytė congratulates Sweden celebrating its National Day

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, to Sweden celebrating its National Day, said the prime minister’s press service.

“Lithuania highly values the dynamic partnership and strong bilateral ties between our countries. As close allies, today our two nations remain committed to the shared ideals of liberty and democracy and are working closely together to build a strong and forward-looking Europe, as well as sustainable peace on our continent and beyond,” reads the prime minister’s message of greetings.
