Sources say LSDP will nominate 9 ministers, Nemunas Dawn – 3, Democrats – 2

On Friday, 8 November, the Social Democratic Party (LSDP), the Nemunas Dawn and Democrats For Lithuania continued their talks and agreed to form the coalition after October’s parliamentary election. The news agency ELTA has learned from its sources about the would-be distribution of governmental positions.

To the knowledge of sources, Democrats For Lithuania will nominate the parliament speaker and two ministers: the minister of energy and the minister of the economy and innovation.

Representatives of the Nemunas Dawn party will head three ministries, among them the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture.

This means that the LSDP will nominate 9 ministers.
