One death was registered in Kaunas and Telsiai Counties each.
One of the Siauliai County fatalities was a person in their 80s who was diagnosed with the virus on October 16. The second fatality was a patient in their 90s who tested positive on October 18, and the third one was a person in their 70s diagnosed on October 12.
The Kaunas County fatality was a person in their 60s who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 5 and the Telsiai County case was a patient in their 70s who tested positive on October 15. Both of them had underlying health issues, too.
The coronavirus has so far claimed 125 lives in Lithuania, and another 38 coronavirus-infected people have died of other causes.
A total of 8,663 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Lithuania so far. The country currently has 4,727 active coronavirus cases and 3,773 recoveries.
