The Police Department reported that the incident in Lithuania’s capital occurred at around 10:20 p.m. on 17 January.

Two Belarusian citizens, born in 1980 and 1972, opened a passenger carriage door and disembarked the train, but were stopped by the train station security personnel.

Afterwards, the two men travelled on the same train to Belarus. They were escorted right until Kena border crossing post so as not to disembark again.
