The Cabinet of Ministers was formed anew after May’s presidential election.

On 5 August, President Gitanas Nausėda signed a decree on the renewed composition of the Government.

Kazys Starkevičius was appointed as Minister of Agriculture, while Aurimas Pečkauskas became Minister of Health.

On Tuesday, their oaths were administered in parliament.

Law stipulates that the head of Government nominates ministers who are appointed and dismissed by the president
