Veryga: working-time restrictions for cafes, bars won't be proposed

Working-time restrictions for cafes, bars and other public catering establishments will no longer be proposed, Lithuanian Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga says.

"They will no longer be proposed, other proposals will be made," he told a press conference on Friday.

On Wednesday, the Lithuanian government did not approve proposed working-time restrictions for cafes, clubs and casinos. Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis said other path would be taken as the government plans to introduce stricter requirements, including the restriction on the number of people.
