Voter turnout during parliament election runoff stood at 39.7 pct

Voter turnout during the Lithuanian parliament election's runoff stood at 39.7 percent, Laura Matjosaityte, chair of the country's Central Electoral Commission, reported after polling stations closed on Sunday.

The number of voters who went to the polls was lower than during the first round of voting two weeks ago but higher than during the 2016 Seimas election's runoff.
