Special Saint John’s Day greetings from Lithuanians in Egypt

Small but active diaspora of Lithuanians in Egypt did not forget Saint John’s Day and created a video “I miss you Lithuania” where moments from national Lithuanian celebrations were shared.

“Love for Lithuania is always alive despite the fact where you live”, world Lithuanians that live in Egypt say.


Lithuanians in Egypt have a Lithuanian school “Jūros Arkliukai” (eng. Sea Horses) and several dozens of Lithuanian children attend it. At the school, youth is taught Lithuanian language, culture, history, and nature.
