Anton Shekhovtsov on why the EU is reluctant to welcome new members from the Eastern Europe

EN.DELFI TV by the Lithuania Tribune spoke to Anton Shekhovtsov, Visiting Senior Fellow at the Legatum Institute (UK), Research Associate at the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation (Ukraine). We spoke about how the EU wasn‘t expecting any new members at present. Is there a cause for this? And is there any chance for aspiring European nations to join the EU in the future?
