"There are many participants. But that's not the point," says rally director Valdas Valiukevičius. "There are more important points, for example, we are organizing the world's only Press Rally, that it is becoming increasingly popular in the Nordics and this year's race will include twice more journalists from Finland. That despite tense situation in Ukraine, we have colleagues from that country coming over too. And, of course, that some rally participants will have their 20th consecutive start."
Lithuania's journalist rallies attract growing interest from abroad. This year, 14 teams from the Baltic states, Finland, Ukraine and Poland are taking part.
