The world‘s first blockchain-based digital collector coin created by the Bank of Lithuania is dedicated to the 16 February 1918 Act of Independence of Lithuania and its 20 signatories. The coin is expected to be issued in spring 2020.

The Bank of Lithuania has signed a contract for programming the world’s first digital collector coin which, together with its physical version, is expected to be issued at the beginning of 2020.

The 500th anniversary of, Mikolaj Radziwill the Black, one of the most prominent noblemen of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, is commemorated by the Bank of Lithuania with the issue of a 20-euro collector coin. It was presented to the public at the Vilnius Radziwill Museum, the Bank said.
