A national-level civil safety exercise will be held on Monday, along with a test of the public warning system in Lithuania.

Lithuania's Health Emergency Situations Center has on Thursday handed over potassium iodide pills to the municipalities of Vilnius and Svencionys Districts to be distributed to local resident for their protection in case of a nuclear accident.
