Operation Inherent Resolve

President Dalia Grybauskaitė is submitting to the parliament for approval a resolution that would allow sending more Lithuanian troops to international operations, the president's press office said on Tuesday.

Six Lithuanian military instructors on Tuesday begin service in Iraq as part of the US-led Operation Inherent Resolve to train Iraqi forces to fight the Islamic State.
