Bomb threats made against 400 schools

More than 400 Lithuanian schools have received bomb threats. Spokesman of the Police Department Ramūnas Matonis has confirmed the information to the news agency ELTA.

"An email was sent to 450 addresses, to education establishments, at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The letter claimed that explosives were planted in the premises," said Matonis.

According to the police representative, most bomb threats were made against schools in Vilnius. The buildings were checked but suspicious items were not discovered.
