First Lady Diana Nausėdienė addressed participants of the Fifth Lithuanian Education Forum on Sunday, the president’s office reports.

More than 400 Lithuanian schools have received bomb threats. Spokesman of the Police Department Ramūnas Matonis has confirmed the information to the news agency ELTA.

Bomb threats were emailed to several schools in Vilnius on Monday morning, police have said.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport has announced that starting with September 2026 schools may start teaching the Spanish language along English, French and German.
