Nausėda condemns terrorist attack in Turkey

President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda has condemned Wednesday’s terrorist attack in Ankara, Turkey. At least 5 people died and 22 were injured in the attack around the entrance of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).

"Condemn the deadly terrorist attack in Ankara. Sending thoughts and prayers to those affected. Lithuania stands with its NATO ally Türkiye. There is no place for terrorism in any form or shape in today’s world," Nausėda stated in a post on the social network X.

The Turkish government blamed the Kurdish militant group PKK for the terrorist attack and launched retaliatory strikes against its sites in Iraq and Syria.
