Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has revealed that Lithuania’s candidate to the European Commission should become clear when Ursula von der Leyen is appointed as President of the European Commission for the second term.

The Central Electoral Commission (VRK) has registered 14 political parties and one political coalition for elections to the European Parliament.
