New car sales in Lithuania grew at the fastest rate in the European Union in the first three months of 2019, according to the latest figures from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).

In 2015 new cars sales in Lithuania grew by nearly a fifth, but one brand’s sales plummeted. Lada sales shrank by whopping 81.2% with only two Russian-made Lada cars bought in the whole of Lithuania.
