Day of Restoration of Independence

On Tuesday, 11 March, thousands of people took part in a parade in Vilnius city centre celebrating the 35th anniversary of restoration of Lithuania’s independence.

From Monday, 13 July 2020, the Grand Courtyard of the Seimas will be opened to the public. Previously, it was only open to residents on the Day of Restoration of Independence, on commemoration of the events of 13 January, and on other festive events.
