The numbers of Lithuanians travelling to neighbouring Poland to ski and participate in winter sports is rising.

For the first time in the history of Lithuanian sports, a ski race sanctioned by the International Ski Federation (FIS) will be hosted by Druskininkai Snow Arena. Two Olympians will represent Lithuania.
