School teachers in Lithuania and Latvia are the least earning educators in Europe, according to an updated European Commission report.

Lithuanian Teacher‘s Unions will continue their strike action on Thursday but negotiations with the Government may not restart until Monday.

The Lithuanian Prime Minister has rowed back on comments linking the teacher unions’ strike to ‘Russian influences’ after union leaders called on the Prime Minister to put names to his allegations of Russian influence on the unions.
