Lithuanians are the most optimistic about their country’s economic outlook, with 35% expecting a pay rise next year, a survey carried out by Citadele Bank in the Baltic States finds. In June, 31% of the Lithuanian respondents were positive that their wages will go up in 2025.

The Ministry of Health and nine unions representing medical staff have signed a new collective agreement that sets out a 10% pay rise for staff and incentives to attract nurses and nursing assistants next year.
