Vilnius ghetto

Former prisoner of Vilnius Ghetto, Fania Brancovskaja, passed away on Sunday, 22 September, aged 102.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda on Friday presented Life Saving Cross awards to people who saved Jews from the Nazi genocide.

Lithuania will commemorate the Jewish Genocide Memorial Day this year by reading the names of the Holocaust victims out loud, with the reading to kick off in Merkine this past Sunday and continue in Vilnius and Kaunas next week.
