With a White Guide Nordic at hand, you can easily pick out exciting culinary stops for your next trip, whether you prefer to try New Nordic, Old Nordic or one of the top international spots. All entries include an informative review based on recent, actual visits by reviewers, a rating of food, service, beverages and ambiance, and of course all the factual information you’ll need to get there. White Guide’s team, which consists of more than 80 reviewers – continually visit, assess and re-assess restaurants. The restaurants are always booked under false names – and White Guide always pays the bill! That makes them well-informed, and above all, independent. That independence is fundamental to White Guide’s rating process, as is the doctrine of transparency in their reviewing system.
All the restaurants in the 2017 edition were visited, rated, and reviewed during 2016. White Guide will continue to follow and assess the rapidly developing gastronomy scene in the Baltic region. 10 restaurants from Lithuania have been identified by the White Guide.
The restaurants included are:
Vilnius: Bučeris, Sweet Root, Gaspar’s, Gastronomika, Lauro Lapas, Telegrafas, Dublis
Kaunas: Uoksas, Monte Pacis
Klaipėda: Monai
After 31st October, when the 2017 guide will be released, the Lithuania Tribune will give an overview of all the rated restaurants in Lithuania, and their position in the rating for Lithuania.
There is no doubt that the White Guide edition for Lithuania and Baltic countries will definitely increase culinary tourism from Scandinavian countries.
